Liang Wenchong Serves As RG’s Chief Product Experience Officer, Technology Lowers Threshold for Golf

On September 9th, Shenzhen news, RG - the leading brand of intelligent indoor golf simulator in China - officially announced that Liang Wenchong, a famous Chinese golfer, was appointed as “RG’s Chief Product Experience Officer” to assist RG to continuously provide better golf simulators and user experience to golf lovers.

The teams of the both parties will work together to build an “empowerment center”, lower the threshold for golf with technology, help more juniors and enthusiasts to improve their golf skills, offer support programs in aspects such as competition, activity, teaching and etc., and empower the diversified development of networked arenas.

RG Golf has been adhering to independent research, development and innovation since its establishment, and has rapidly grown into a national high-tech enterprise integrating research, development, production, sales and operation of golf simulator system. As a “strategic partner” of the Public Golf Project implemented by the China Golf Association, RG has shown a strong and comprehensive team strength in different works such as Internet+, intelligent arena construction, competition innovation, technical training, member development, industry standard formulation, junior examination and etc.

As of the first half of 2021, more than 70% of the commercial indoor golf arenas in China have adopted RG simulator system. RG was rated as a “National Advanced Unit of Mass Sports” recognized by the General Administration of Sport of China.

 

 

Since becoming a professional golfer in 1999, Liang Wenchong has won 21 championships in the international tournaments held in 6 countries, including the European Tour, the Japanese Tour and the Asian Tour; he ranked first in China for 8 consecutive years; he played hole in one for 15 times.

In 2009, the Liang Wenchong Team established a public welfare organization - Liang Wenchong Golf Club, since then, the Club holds free summer training classes for juniors throughout the country every year, and over 100 stations have been organized in the past ten years;

Since 2013, Liang Wenchong has been invited by R&A - the authoritative regulatory institution of the global “Golf Rules” to serve as the third and only Chinese “Golf Rules Promotion Ambassador”;

From 2016 until now, Liang Wenchong and RG have jointly held the Junior Golf Challenge for 6 consecutive years, every year, nearly 1,000 juniors participated in the Challenge at zero threshold through RG networked arenas.

In 2018, RG made a breakthrough in developing the real-time remote competition feature of the whole-network audio and video synchronization in the world;

In 2019, RG completed the 4K image quality upgrading and development, and operated more than 100 real 3D courses in China;

In 2020, RG held two professional online golf competitions together with the China Tour Men’s Professional Golf Tournament, its equipment accuracy and the new competition system of “cloud grouping, cloud starting, cloud scoring” have passed the test of professional competitions; RG Team supported the Public Golf Project in completing the exclusive development of the competition system software. In 2021, RG pioneered the China Professional Golf – RG Networked Tour, which is the only professional tour that can be participated by players in nearby cities without travel expenses.

At the end of September, Liang Wenchong, RG’s Chief Product Experience Officer, will visit RG Headquarters, discuss with the R&D Team in depth, experience different functions of the RG system in a more comprehensive manner, and interact with players online and offline to share his experiences.
